So needless to say I watched the entire game last night even though I could care less about either team. It sucked. Even with the help of beer it sucked. Even with the distraction of gchat it still sucked.
Things we learned:
- The Redskins could be one of the worst teams in the NFL this year. The offense is just lost.
- The mandatory 15 yard face mask penalty is a freaking joke. The Redskins only score came on a drive featuring a play where the Giants lineman, I think Fred Robbins, tripped and fell past Clinton Portis, didn't affect the play, grazed his face mask and was flagged for 15 yards. This isn't right. I guarantee this rule is changed back at the end of the year.
- I'm not sure what to think of the Giants. Sure they held the Skins to 7 points, but that's not saying much. For the amount of time they had the ball 16 points is pretty disappointing. I realize that the Redskins defense is supposed to be strong, but 16 points isn't good enough.
- Ed Hochuli is still effing jacked.
