Week 15 Fantasy Football Roundup | Sharapova's Thigh

Peyton Manning will put up big numbers against the pathetic Lions.
And for some picks of my own:

Week 15's Best...

QB: Peyton Manning. Peyton had a dud against the Browns in week 13, getting just 1 fantasy point after having 5 straight good games(fantasy points: 18, 20, 21, 20, 16). He got back on track in week 14 with 277 yards passing, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Now he gets to face the Lions at home. Expect a similar performance.
RB: Brian Westbrook. Led all players with 37 fantasy points in week 13, and did the same in week 14 with 37 points. So he's apparently feeling fine after being "Questionable" on the injury report of late. You absolutely must play him against the Browns at home on Monday.
WR: Steve Smith. I don't care if Champ Bailey's covering him(and Champ might not even play), this guy will get it done. In my opinion, either he or Andre Johnson is the best wide receiver in the game right now.
TE: Tony Gonzalez. He's kicked ass with Tyler Thigpen at quarterback. Double-digit fantasy points for the last 3 weeks, that's pretty damn good for a tight end. Now he gets the Chargers' 30th ranked pass defense at home.
K: Rob Bironas. Remember what he did last year in Houston? He set an NFL record by making 8 field goals.
D/ST: Indianapolis Colts. 20 fantasy points at Cleveland in week 13, and 26 at home against the Bengals in week 14. Now the Lions come to town, and with Daunte Culpepper doubtful to play. They could very well top 20 fantasy points again.

Sleeper Picks...

QB: Jason Campbell.
The Redskins quarterback should be able to get 15+ fantasy points against the Bengals' 22nd ranked pass defense.
RB: Sammy Morris. He's gotten in the end zone each of the last 2 weeks, and gets the Raiders and their 30th ranked run defense this week. He should get double-digits in fantasy points and is a top-20 RB play this week.
WR: Reggie Williams. With Matt Jones suspended, Williams will be Garrard's main target against a Packers defense that allowed 414 passing yards to the Texans last Sunday.
TE: Desmond Clark. The Bears tight end caught his first touchdown of the year last Sunday against the Jaguars. The Saints are 26th against the pass so the Bears will likely want to throw, and with Marty Booker out, the Bears are going to be thin at wide receiver and Kyle Orton will likely go to Greg Olsen and Clark a fair amount. If you're desperate at tight end, he's as good of a gamble as you're going to find off the waiver wire.
K: Dan Carpenter. Double-digit fantasy points the last 2 weeks, and should get some kicking chances against the 49ers' 19th ranked defense.
D/ST: New York Jets. 31st against the pass, but Trent Edwards is likely out again, and J.P. Losman threw for only 123 yards in week 14 against the Dolphins. Additionally, their run defense is ranked 4th in the league and should be able to shutdown Marshawn Lynch and the Buffalo running game. Plus, the Bills only put up 3 points each of the last 2 weeks.

Shit Picks...

QB: Matt Schaub. Don't get too caught up in his brilliant week 14 performance. The Titans defense gave Schaub hell in week 3, picking him off 3 times, and didn't allow a touchdown pass.
RB: Brandon Jacobs. It's no guarantee he goes sunday at the Cowboys, but even if he does, don't expect the Giants to give him the ball very much. Derrick Ward's a mighty fine backup, and they won't risk hurting Jacobs even more with the NFC East already secured.
WR: Derrick Mason. Nice little nugget I saw on ESPN.Com... in Mason's 19 career games against the Steelers, he's NEVER gotten a touchdown. He did get 8 catches for 137 yards against them in week 4, but I don't expect the Steelers' #1 ranked defense to let him do that again.
TE: Visanthe Shiancoe. Um, it's been an interesting week for him, after the world saw his penis on Fox last Sunday(don't worry, you don't see it in this link). The heckling possibilities are endless for the Cardinals fans and it will get to him..
K: Shaun Suisham. I know the matchup against the Bengals has you wanting to pick him up off waivers and play him, but don't. He sucks. He's 22/31 on the season, awful for a kicker. Even worse, he's 2 for 6 in the last 4 games. Pathetic.
D/ST: Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After seeing what the Panthers running game did the Buccaneers Monday night(running for 300 yards), I think we're going to see a heavy dose of Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood, and I think they'll run with successs. They held the Falcons to 9 points in week 2, and intercepted Matt Ryan, but he's a completely different quarterback since then. Another disappointing performance in store for usually a great defense.

My Week 14 Picks(scoring based off ESPN standard league settings)...
Best: Kurt Warner(13 Points), Adrian Peterson(11 Points), Anquan Boldin(6 Points), Antonio Gates(0 Points), Ryan Longwell(10 Points), Tennessee Titans(7 Points).

Sleepers: Shaun Hill(17 Points), Pierre Thomas(22 Points), Devin Hester(8 Points), Dallas Clark(6 Points), Connor Barth(5 Points), Arizona Cardinals(23 Points).

Shit: Ben Roethlisberger(11 Points), Jamal Lewis(0 Points), Santana Moss(4 Points), Todd Heap(5 Points), Kris Brown(11 Points), Atlanta Falcons(-4 Points).

Plenty of more links to come and I'll update them all week. If you come across any good fantasy football links that you think should be on here, e-mail me at sharapovasthigh@gmail.com. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll answer them.

Lots of more links added such as Yahoo's rankings, Fantasy Footbball Phenom's projections, injuries added and statuses changed, and some more articles.

Brandon Jacobs is officially out, as is Joseph Addai, and Frank Gore's listed as "Questionable" but unlikely to play. If Dominic Rhodes and/or Derrick Ward are available in your league, pick them up immediately.
