Flight of the Conchords the band, Flight of the Conchords the HBO television series, and now Flight of the Conchords... the movie?
According to Rhys Darby who plays the incredibly hilarious band manager Murray Hewitt on the FOTC television show, that could be the case:
Rhys said: "James Bobin likes the idea of doing a film, James Bobin he's
"But... when you make a film it's got to be, you've got to have a
really great story. Whether you go and do a back story, or whether you take it
off on a different tangent you have to put a lot of thought into it. So I would
definitely love to do it, but we will have to wait and see."

Awesome. This would definitely make me feel better, as the show is likely done as I informed you in September. The season two finale was this past Sunday, and without giving too much away... it definitely seemed like the end.
I also recently put out an idea of having a spin-off with Murray, as Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement seem like they want to focus on their band instead of coming up with new songs constantly for the show. I'm still waiting for that phone call to pitch the show HBO!
Really though, a movie would be a great idea and then they could officially call the acting stuff quits. It would be a perfect way to go out.
