I at least thought he could find a third string job or at worst maintain a job in the CFL or AFL. He signed on with the Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, and Philadelphia Eagles, but was never able to get a roster spot with any of those teams. He got some playing time in the CFL, but currently is not on a team and was cut by two teams in the last year.
But Chang really bottomed out this past Thursday. The 27-year-old was arrested on suspicion of robbery in Honolulu:
The 27-year-old Chang was arrested at his Mililani home Thursday after a woman alleged her camera was taken away from her while she was filming a brawl last month in the Pearlridge area.Link(USA Today)
A man, whom Honolulu police say was Chang, told the woman to stop filming the fight. A struggle ensued and the suspect allegedly took the camera and threw it on the roof of a nearby building.
Doesn't sound like the worst thing in the world and he has not been charged yet, but still another bad mark on his craptastic post-NCAA career. From the most passing yards in college football history to not being able to play quarterback in the CFL, and getting arrested for suspicion of robbery at the age of 27. Well done.
