Is This Guy Crazy For Firing A BB Gun In Taco Bell Due To Anger Over Increased Burrito Prices? | Sharapova's Thigh

No way he would've been firing any BB guns at Del Taco.

Taco Bell's pissed me off in recent times. I mean I'll still get it here and there, but it used to be my munchie go-to. Now? It's not as cheap as it used to be, and it's not even open past midnight in my town. There's a bunch of bars around here too and lots of us are looking for our late night food, so what the hell is up with that? Not cool at all.

Now it's all about Del Taco. $.39 tacos, $.99 awesome chicken tacos, cheap macho fries and macho drinks... it's a munchie dream.

Anyway, another dude isn't too happy about Taco Bell. Specifically, he's angry that the seven burritos he wanted to purchase were priced at $1.49 each, rather than the previous price of $.99. Pretty reasonable gripe for sure. I mean that's an extra $3.50, or basically what your entire order at Taco Bell used to total. You bring in $7 and change thinking you've got yourself some food and all of a sudden you need to spend over $10 at fucking Taco Bell to eat? Give me a break.

But is it worth firing a BB gun in the direction of a Taco Bell employee over? Probably not.

Here's more on the story, via MSNBC:
A Taco Bell customer enraged that the seven burritos he ordered had gone up in price fired a BB gun at an employee and later fired an assault rifle at officers before barricading himself in a motel room, police said.

As the restaurant's employees and customers hit the floor Sunday, the manager called police and, when officers arrived, the angry patron fired several shots at the police cars, San Antonio Police Sgt. Chris Benavides said.

The man then barricaded himself inside a nearby motel room, sparking a three-hour standoff that ended when police lobbed tear gas inside and the man surrendered.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Benavides said that the man will be charged with three counts of attempted capital murder, and that additional charges are possible.

The man never did get his burritos.
So while you can debate on the "Is he crazy for firing the BB gun" part, it's clear he's officially a grade-A psycho with the whole "fired an assault rifle at officers" part. He's probably legitimately more upset over not getting his burritos than the time he's going to spend in jail.
