Throats being slit. Everybody on suicide watch. Everybody reacting like they did to 9-11.
Because if there's one thing we know about the city of Miami, it's that they care about their sports teams above all.
There's no way they could go on without having their local team(s) to cheer for.
So yeah, I definitely think that Luther Campbell is right: If the "U" lost its football program, people would be killing themselves left and right, and the city of Miami would react the same way everybody reacted to 3,000 people tragically dying in the 9-11 attacks.
