Here's the Tampa Bay Rays' throwback uniforms from a year the franchise didn't exist

The Tampa Bay Rays' franchise was established in 1998 (they were of course the "Devil Rays" from '98-2007). But, they understandably would like to be able to show off a variety of "throwback" uniforms like most of the teams can.

So, they just decided to make up these uniforms that are supposed to be from 1979, and will wear them in a game next weekend:

Not bad. I definitely like the hats.
