In April, we shared the awesome news that a sequel to Dumb and Dumber (my favorite movie) was in the works. And it may still be in the works... but without Jim Carrey:
According to sources, Carrey grew increasingly frustrated by New Line and Warner Brothers, who he felt showed a lack of enthusiasm regarding the project.
A sentiment seemingly reinforced by a statement exclusively obtained when ETOnline reached out to the actor's publicist for comment. In addition to confirming the story, Carrey exclusively tells ETOnline, "I would have thought Dumb and Dumber To was a no-brainer, after all it's implied in the title."

It sure sounds like Carrey could still be convinced to do the movie if New Line and Warner Brothers could show that they give a damn about it. Get it together, asshats.
