But, every once in a while, the 6'3", 210-pounder reminds you of what he's capable of doing at the plate. Like, with this 484-foot homer (MLB's longest homer in 2012) he hit on Monday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field:

The San Diego Padres' Cameron Maybin is an incredibly talented player that just hasn't put it all together yet. Coming into the bigs as one of the game's top prospects, the 25-year-old Maybin is already on his third team in six years, and currently has an unimpressive .207/.287/.307 slash line for the Padres. His career line isn't much better: .244/.310/.367 (although he does have an impressive 75 stolen bases in 91 attempts).
