VIDEO: Jayson Werth's walk-off homer to force a game 5 | Sharapova's Thigh

Wednesday's MLB postseason action was absolutely awesome, and it's been every bit as good through the first two games Thursday.

In the first game of the day, we saw NL MVP candidate Buster Posey hit a grand slam to cap off a six-run fifth inning, and give the Giants a 6-0 lead. The Reds came right back with two of their own in the bottom half of the fifth, and had chance after chance to tie the game (or even win it) late. However, the Giants were able to hang on for a 6-4 victory, and win the series in five games, after trailing 2-0 in the series.

And in the afternoon game between the Cardinals and Nationals, the score was 1-1 in the ninth, until the Nationals' Jayson Werth did this on the 13th pitch of his at-bat:

After signing a seven-year, $126-million deal with the Nationals before the 2011 season, Werth had just a .718 OPS in 2011, and only played in 81 games in 2012 (but did put up a rock-solid .300/.387/.440/.827 line). But, if the Nationals now go on to win game five, Werth's game four winner will quiet those complaints about his contract... for at least a while.
