So this trailer for the latest James Bond film, Skyfall, apparently hit the interwebs on Tuesday, and it's absofreakinglutely fantastic. You may have already seen it, but I know I'm sure as hell going to watch it a few times.

Love it. According to Deadspin (who got the info from this Italian site that I don't understand a word of), the video was "filmed in the run-up to the Olympics for a commercial for Head." They continue with the idea that the nutshot could be part of the commercial, or perhaps just Head wisely trying to make a viral video.

Will Ferrell and Zack Galifianakis threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Wrigley Field on Wednesday night before the Cubs/Marlins game, to promote their new movie, 'The Campaign'. And before Ferrell threw out his first pitch, he had a D'Agostino's pizza delivered to the mound for he, Galifianakis, and Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster to eat. Just Will Ferrell being Will Ferrell.

So apparently NBA guard Delonte West (or, that guy who was rumored to be banging LeBron James' mom) was in a celebrity baseball game recently, and what I've gathered from this footage is that anybody (on West's opposing team) who hit the ball to right field had a great chance at an inside-the-park home run:

As a minor league baseball prospects junkie, I've been following Cincinnati Reds prospect Billy Hamilton (ranked #27 on Baseball America's midseason top-50 prospects) closely this year. And maybe you should be following Hamilton closely too, because he, as Gus Johnson would say, has "getting-away-from-the-cops-speed". Yahoo's Jeff Passan wrote an article on Monday which even suggested that Hamilton may be the fastest baseball player ever.

After stealing 103 bases last season, Hamilton stole 104 bases in 125 attempts for the Bakersfield Blaze (Reds' single-A affiliate) this season. 104 STOLEN BASES IN 82 GAMES.

The shortstop recently moved up to double-A ball with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, and in five games there, has five stolen bases in six attempts (so, in total, Hamilton has 109 stolen bases in 87 minor league games this year).

And in last night's Blue Wahoos game, Hamilton showed off his amazing wheels on an inside-the-park home run that took him only 13.8 seconds to make it around the bases:

Ridiculous.

The record for stolen bases in a minor league season is 145, held by Vince Coleman. And before the All-Star Futures Game last week in Kansas City, Hamilton told CBS Sports, "Yeah, last year I didn't get to 100 until the last couple of games of the season. Then when I hit 100 this year, it didn't feel the same. Last year it was intense. This year it was just another stolen base. I guess 145 will be like 100 was last year. It is the record, 145, so last year when I got to 100 it was pretty intense -- so this year it will be 145. Well, 146 -- 145 would tie it. I don't want to just tie it."

Improv Everywhere ("a New York City-based prank collective that causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places") recently put together a fantastic video in which they turned a random mini-golf course into a major golf championship.

Here's the specifics on what they did (link):

For our latest mission, we turned a mini-golf course into a major golf championship. We surprised random mini-golfers with caddies, commentators, an ESPN camera crew, and a huge crowd. The “winner” was presented with the actual Claret Jug from The Open Championship. We surprised several groups throughout the day, appearing out of nowhere each time..

New Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning closed the deal on a $4,575,000 million mansion in the Denver suburbs on Monday, according to TMZ.

Specifically, the house is located in Cherry Hills Village (which is about 10 miles from where I live, actually), a neighborhood that also features the home of Hall of Fame quarterback and current Broncos executive vice president of football operations, John Elway.

The house is 16,000 square feet, and has 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a 7-car garage, a gated entrance, a panic room, and an elevator.

Yikes. That is the football field for Lindenwood University-Belleville (Illinois), an NAIA program that will play their inaugural football season in 2012.

The color scheme – which alternates between gray and maroon every five yards between the end zone and 45-yard lines – was captured on Sunday by The Southern, a local newspaper. It is part of a $2.3 million renovation to what was formerly Township Stadium. Ground was broken on the new stadium on March 5 and is scheduled to be completed on Sunday. The new stadium will feature a capacity of 4,129, as well as a new press box and locker room.

River Monsters' Jeremy Wade showing off the "ball cutter".

In an episode of River Monsters, extreme angler (and all-around badass) Jeremy Wade concluded that a fish species known as the "pacu" was responsible for biting off the testicles of two fishermen in the waters of Papua New Guinea. The Papua New Guinea residents even refer to the pacu as the "ball cutter".

Well isn't it comforting to know that these ball cutters are now being found in an Illinois lake?

The pacu, a toothy fish that can weigh up to 55 pounds, has been spotted in Lake Lou Yaeger in Illinois, KSDK reports.

Responding to a report that a fisherman had reeled in a piranha on June 7, lake superintendent Jim Caldwell brought the fish to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, where it was identified as a pacu. Some reports say another pacu was seen a couple of weeks later.

Caldwell said he is still swimming in the lake nearly every day. Pacus primarily eat nuts, aquatic vegetation and snails, he told KDSK, and pose no real threat to humans.

Oh, Jim Caldwell. You said it yourself: the pacu eat nuts. Dude, we're talking testicles, not Planters.

And shocking that Caldwell says all is just fine in the water during this fourth of July season and people have nothing to worry about, right? Stop me if you've heard this one before.

During the Minnesota Twins-Texas Rangers game on Sunday at Rangers Ballpark, a clap of thunder caused the players on the field to freak out and run to their respective dugouts. The Twins' Josh Willingham, who was a baserunner leading off first base, even fell to his knees as the thunder struck.

Andy Murray just defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to advance to the Wimbledon final, where he'll face Roger Federer. And I think a major reason for Murray's victory is that he pretty much destroyed Tsonga's testicles early in the match:

What the video involves is a grandma pitching in a family slow pitch softball game, and getting drilled by a line drive off the bat of her grandson.

The San Diego Padres' Cameron Maybin is an incredibly talented player that just hasn't put it all together yet. Coming into the bigs as one of the game's top prospects, the 25-year-old Maybin is already on his third team in six years, and currently has an unimpressive .207/.287/.307 slash line for the Padres. His career line isn't much better: .244/.310/.367 (although he does have an impressive 75 stolen bases in 91 attempts).

But, every once in a while, the 6'3", 210-pounder reminds you of what he's capable of doing at the plate. Like, with this 484-foot homer (MLB's longest homer in 2012) he hit on Monday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field:
