August 2013 | Sharapova's Thigh

Under 24 hours after we showed you an unbelievable one-handed interception made by Michigan State's Kurtis Drummond, we have another amazing one-handed grab to show off.

Watch Duquesne's Sean Brady reel in this ridiculous one-handed touchdown touchdown reception in the Dukes' 35-24 victory over the Albany Great Danes on Saturday in Pittsburgh:

Another angle of the catch:

With North Dakota's win at Kansas State, Eastern Washington's win at Oregon State, Towson's win at Connecticut, this Brady touchdown catch, etc... it's been a pretty fantastic few days for FCS football.

Good job, good effort with the spelling of your team's name for their first football game of the season on Saturday, Notre Dame fans:
As for the actual game, the No. 14 Fighting Irish handled the Temple Owls without much trouble in South Bend, winning by the score of 28-6.

The 2013 college football season is just two days old, but we may not see a better interception the rest of the season than the one made by Michigan State junior safety Kurtis Drummond on Friday, in the Spartans' 26-13 victory over the Western Michigan Broncos.

Check out video of Drummond making this absurd one-handed interception:

And here's the play in GIF form (thanks to @WorldOfIsaac)

That interception will be pretty damn tough to top this year.

And that wasn't the only awesome play on defense that Drummond was a part of in the game. In GIF form (thanks to SB Nation this time), watch the Spartans' Jairus Jones intercept a pass, and then lateral the ball to Drummond, who brings it back for six:

The Arizona Diamondbacks defeated San Diego Padres by the score of 10-9 in the 10th inning at Chase Field on Tuesday night. It was a crazy game, and it's now even crazier to think the Padres would've ended up winning the game if Diamondbacks shortstop Didi Gregorius didn't make a Willie Mays-esque catch to prevent a run and end the seventh inning.

In GIF form, thanks to Business Insider and the must-follow Cork Gaines (@CorkGaines), watch Gregorius sprint out to center field to make this absolutely ridiculous catch with his back to the ball:

Incredible play for so many reasons. Sprinting back and making the play with his back to the ball was one thing, but then the adjustment and level of concentration (both on the ball and incoming center fielder) was just fantastic.

We've always maintained that we'll support the Thigh Goddess, Maria Sharapova, no matter the situation, so I guess we have no choice but to support her decision to change her name to Maria Sugarpova for the two-week duration of the U.S. Open:

Tennis star Maria Sharapova has reportedly set in motion a plan to change her last name to Sugarpova for the duration of the U.S. Open. The Russian opened a candy company by that name and is said to have sunk half a million dollars into it.

According to several reports, Sharapova has approached the Florida Supreme Court about the possibility of changing her name.

Her plan, according to reports, would be to change her name back to Sharapova following the tournament.

So, um, yeah.

UPDATE: Less than 24 hours after that news broke, it was announced that Maria will not be changing her name, after all:

Maria Sharapova won't become the next World B. Free, Chad Ochocinco or Metta World Peace.

After what her agent calls serious consideration, the tennis player has decided not to change her name to Sugarpova for the US Open next week.

Those guys definitely didn't practice that play, right? Also, maybe the most incredible part about that video is that somebody still owns rollerblades.

You remember the commercial for Tom Emanski's baseball defensive drills video that used to run about every other commercial break on ESPN? You know, the one where former MLB first baseman and five-time All-Star, Fred McGriff, wore that awesome "Baseball World" outfit  that you see above (the hat is especially great)? Of course you do, unless you're about eight or hate sports.

Well, somebody made a kickball spoof of the video, and it's fantastic. Check it out:

Just another reminder that the Internet is awesome.
