Last week, I posted about the adiZero Crazy Light 2 shoes, and today, I see that Adidas has made a GLOW IN THE DARK version of them:

Your dream of playing basketball in a laser tag arena just came one step closer to becoming a reality! The shoes are available to purchase at

The adiZero Crazy Light 2 from Adidas hit stores on May 24th, 2012, and they come in a variety of colorways, with the "main" colorway being the one you see in the picture above.

The shoe is indeed crazy light. I've been a basketball shoe nut going back to my early child years. I've had my hands on a lot of basketball shoes, especially light ones, as I preferred to get them that way as a point guard. And I don't remember holding a shoe as light as the Crazy Light 2's, which weigh just 9.5 ounces.

In the following video, (the awesome) Gus Johnson talks with Adidas basketball footwear designer Robbie Fuller about the shoes:

Adidas continues to release new colorways/versions of the adiZero Rose shoes this year, and that's probably a business move that will pay off (literally) given how much reigning MVP Derrick Rose sells right now.

The latest such example of an adiZero Rose 2 variation are the adiZero Rose 2.5 'Brenda' edition, named for Derrick's mother. Derrick will wear them tomorrow night when the Bulls face the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, in a game televised nationally on TNT.

Here's more about the shoes:

Dubbed “Brenda,” the bold red colorway of the shoe represents family for Derrick and is his mother Brenda’s favorite color. The texture of the shoe’s nubuck upper is embossed with detailed rose material and features a full-grain nubuck leather toe for a strong off-court look. The shoe’s on-court debut is a direct nod to the “Big Apple.”

The adizero Rose 2.5 “Brenda” will be available February 9 at Foot Locker, Eastbay and for MSRP $110. The shoe will roll out in three additional colorways through April so stay tuned to the adidas Basketball Facebook page for exclusive images and content. The home and away colorways are on-sale starting tomorrow.
And here's a few images of the shoes:

Retail price for LeBron's new shoes? $170(!):

That's about $10 more a pair than the NBA superstar's last signature sneakers from the Swoosh, says Matt Powell, an analyst with SportsOneSource. It's the highest price for any basketball kicks sold at Nike's online store -- with the exception of a pair of Jordan shoes that sell for $175.

The shoes will hit U.S. stores on October 25th.

Nike's released a new LeBron James shoe today called the "LeBron 8V2 Low", which are better known as the "Miami Nights".

NiceKicks.Com has more information on the shoes:
Showing Flamingo-like hues and a color splatter only describable as “vivid,” the “Miami Night” LeBron 8 V2 Low is like few shoes that have come before it. Of course, this one possesses all of the performance characteristics we’ve come to expect from Bron Bron’s shoes, including Max Air cushioning and a Flywire-supported upper. It’s that upper that makes this one special though, thanks to its Glass Blue, Solar Red, black and white coloring.
The Miami Nights are only available at Miami's Niketown store, for the price of $160.

Here's more pictures of the shoes:

What do you think? Awesome? Ugly? You hate LeBron so you're going to hate the shoes no matter how they look?

I'm a huge fan of basketball shoes. I always have a large variety of them, many I never even end up wearing more than a few times. When I was younger I'd get the Air Jordans or whatever the hottest basketball shoes were each year. I'd take my birthday money straight to the mall and spend it all on shoes, then wear those babies to the gym and feel like the coolest thing ever(which I was of course, not so much anymore though).

Well, now of course you don't have to even leave your house to buy sneakers. You can just sit on your computer, and order cooler shoes than you'd ever find at the stores anyway. A website that specializes in making awesome shoes that you won't find anywhere else is

The shoes are 100% authentic and they specialize in special versions of popular shoes such as the Air Jordans or LeBron James' shoe, like these: The Nike Zoom LeBron VI Taxi Cab Edition NYC Exclusive.

The shoes were released exclusively in New York(hence the cab theme) yesterday, where LeBron then dropped 52 and a triple-double on the Knicks. So the shoe's already got the good karma working.

These are a very rare edition and you'll see them going for a lot more than the $250 Osneaker price on Ebay or somewhere soon. The shoes are deadstock(brand spanking new, never been worn) and come with the original box.

Check these sexy sneakers out:

Go to Osneakers if you want to give these a purchase. They have a ton of other great shoes as well, I was just surfing there for a good thirty minutes. The Nike Dunk Low Premium Teen Wolf's that our buddy Lance at Bitches Love Smiley Faces recently covered are amazing.
